Dolphins' Odrick goes on injured reserve

Miami Dolphins first-round draft pick Jared Odrick has been placed on injured reserve, ending his season.

The team made the move Friday, two days after Odrick hurt his left foot in practice. The injury occurred with the defensive end on the verge of rejoining the lineup after missing four games because of a broken right leg.

Odrick was taken with the 28th pick in the April draft. He worked with the first team from the start of training camp but has been sidelined since he sustained a slight leg fracture in the season opener.

The Dolphins listed fullback Lousaka Polite as questionable for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh because of a knee injury. Linebacker Karlos Dansby is probable with a knee injury.
