Marques Colston has scored the 56th touchdown of his career and with New Orleans, surpassing Saints' all-time rusher Deuce McAllister for the club record.

Colston, a seventh-round draft choice out of Hofstra in 2006, surpassed McAllister with 10-yard reception over the middle in the second quarter of New Orleans' game against San Francisco on Sunday.

The touchdown catch was Colston's eighth of the season and gave New Orleans a 14-7 lead over the 49ers in the second quarter.

Colston entered the game with 6,961 career yards receiving, ranking third in Saints history behind Eric Martin (7,854) and Joe Horn (7,622). Colston also was third in catches coming in with 500, behind Martin (532) and Horn (523).
