Carson Wentz claims he still hasn't had his 'Welcome to the NFL' moment
Regardless of the sport, rookies will tell you that the hardest part of making the jump from college to the pros is the speed of the game.
When everyone on the field is one of the very best at their position, the game flies by. It can take a little bit of time for first-year players to adjust. Some take their entire first season. Others never really get the hang of it.
It's far too early to tell where on that spectrum Carson Wentz currently falls. But to hear 2015's second overall pick tell it, he's not at all flustered as he begins to learn the ropes for the Philadelphia Eagles:
If it were just Wentz talking about his early successes, maybe we could chalk this up to a bit of overconfidence. But according to reports, Wentz might actually be ahead of veteran Sam Bradford in learning Doug Pederson's offense.

Again, it's very early in the process. As the Eagles dive deeper into the playbook, Wentz could very well fall behind. We don't have any real indication of which quarterback will start for Philly in Week 1. The fact that Wentz is still in the running, though, is a pretty good indication of how ready he could be to take over sooner than later.
