Brady joins Manning as only QBs to accomplish this feat

Published Dec. 20, 2015 2:30 p.m. ET

The New England Patriots have had a lot of uncertainty at wide receiver due to injuries, but that hasn't stopped Tom Brady from being the same great quarterback he's been for years. He proved that on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, throwing his 35th touchdown pass of the year.

With that, Brady joined Peyton Manning as the only two quarterbacks to throw 35 touchdown passes in a season four times. And with the amount of doubt surrounding Manning, Brady could become the only player with five such seasons in 2016.

Brady now has 427 touchdown passes in his career, upping his lead on Drew Brees for third all time. He remains 81 touchdowns behind Brett Favre for second on the list, and trails Manning by 114 for first.
