Bob Sansevere: Three things with Vikings' Ben Leber

Here is Vikings linebacker Ben Leber ...

On whether the Vikings are panicky at 1-3: "I don't think there's a sense of panic. Panic makes it sound like we're all out of sorts and we don't know what the next step is. There is a sense of urgency, but it's very controlled and we understand what we have to do."

On the Vikings' pass rush not sacking quarterbacks as it did last season, when it led the NFL with 48: "If you look back to last year's game (NFC divisional playoff against Dallas, when the Vikings had six sacks of Tony Romo), we had a substantial lead early on and the rest of the game, so we were able to open it up on defense. This year, we haven't had those big leads where we could pin our ears back. I think that has been the big, fundamental difference."

On the Vikings' run defense, which ranks 14th after finishing first in 2006-08 and second in the league last season: "We have let some yardage leak, and not up to our standards. I think if we understand if we just stay in our details and stay disciplined, everything will take care of itself."
