Cut by the Minnesota Vikings last November, kicker Blair Walsh has found a new home with the Seattle Seahawks.Plenty of jokes (okay maybe a whole lot more than plenty) have already been made, but it was reported on Thursday afternoon that former Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh has signed a deal with the Seattle Seahawks. However, in his last two games in Minnesota he only converted on four of his seven kicks.After he was cut by the team, the Vikings signed kicker Kai Forbath who made all 15 of his field goal attempts for Minnesota during their final seven games.Drafted by the Vikings in 2012, Walsh’s new home in Seattle will be the second team of his five-year career in the NFL. Before signing Walsh, the Seahawks were without a kicker on their roster due to Steven Hauschka becoming a free-agent this year.Next: Danielle Hunter gunning for a starting spot in 2017It will be interesting to see if Walsh is able to pull it together and succeed in Seattle.
