Published Jan. 9, 2010 11:37 p.m. ET

The Bengals temporarily lost two of their receivers in the second quarter of their playoff game against the New York Jets, with Laveranues Coles hurting his left thumb and Andre Caldwell limping off before the final play of the half.

Coles caught an 11-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter. He was knocked down by linebacker Bart Scott on Darrelle Revis' interception return in the second quarter. Caldwell sprained his left ankle on the second-to-last play of the half.

Both returned during the opening series of the second half, although Caldwell was moving carefully.
