Antonio Bryant won't play vs. Cowboys on Sunday

Published Aug. 5, 2010 7:39 p.m. ET

Bengals receiver Antonio Bryant won't play in Cincinnati's preseason opener Sunday against Dallas because of his bad knee.

Bryant's been limited at training camp because his left knee isn't completely healthy. He had surgery on it a year ago.

The Bengals signed him to a four-year, $28 million deal in the offseason, but aren't sure when he'll be able to play.

Coach Marvin Lewis said on Thursday that Bryant will sit out the annual Hall of Fame game Sunday, and several other players are also questionable with minor injuries.

Receiver Terrell Owens and cornerback Adam ''Pacman'' Jones are expected to make their Bengal debuts against their former team. They played together on the Cowboys in 2008.
