Anthony Gonzalez placed on IR

The Indianapolis Colts have placed WR Anthony Gonzalez (knee) on injured reserve. To replace him on the 53-man roster, the Colts signed RB Andre Brown off their practice squad. Brown was re-signed to the team's practice squad earlier this week after being waived off the 53-man roster the previous week.

Brown could dress for Sunday’s game at the Philadelphia Eagles due to the injuries to RBs Joseph Addai (neck-doubtful) and Mike Hart (ankle-questionable). Neither player practiced this week.

Second-year RB Donald Brown likely will start for Addai.

The Colts are down to just four receivers on their active roster with Gonzalez now out for the rest of the season.
