Wizards' Beal shows off his artistic chops
Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal is one of the NBA's brightest young stars. He can shoot threes, defend multiple positions, create off the dribble and get to the basket. He's awesome.
But basketball doesn't consume Beal's life as much as you'd expect it to.
As documented by Wizards Magazine in the video below, Beal is an avid painter. He's really good!
The 22-year-old says he's "big on shapes" which is an awesome thing to be about, and sort of explains why he's shooting a career-best 41.3 percent from behind the three-point line right now.
The ball is a shape and so is the rim. Both are Beal's friend.
In all seriousness, it's good to see the fourth-year guard healthy and back on the court. Since returning from a leg injury that kept him out a month, Beal's averaging 16.3 points, 3.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game.
His handle looks tight and he isn't hesitant getting to the basket. Even though he's coming off the bench, for now, Beal once again resembles the star everyone expected him to be.
