Win In 6 Podcast #99: The Miles Plumlee Trade
In the latest edition of our Milwaukee Bucks’ Win In 6 Podcast, we offer instant reactions to Thursday’s trade centering around Miles Plumlee.
Sound the alarm! It may not be our regularly scheduled slot, but the Win In 6 Podcast is here for a special, emergency edition to mark Miles Plumlee’s trade to the Charlotte Hornets.
As you likely know by now unless you’ve spent your day under a rock, the Milwaukee Bucks have traded Miles Plumlee to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for the veteran center duo of Roy Hibbert and Spencer Hawes. In order to open up enough roster spots to complete the deal, the Bucks also had to release Steve Novak.
If you have somehow missed all of the news, let us help you catch up, though. We tracked the day’s happenings from report to official trade, before ultimately grading the deal for the Bucks. And now, we’ve offered up even further reaction in podcast format!
Having spent more minutes than any right-minded people would on why a Plumlee trade seemed almost impossible over the past few months, we started off by sharing our reactions to the news of the deal as it happened.
Also up for discussion was Charlotte’s motivation for doing this deal, what we can expect to see from either Roy Hibbert or Spencer Hawes, the chances of more trades, what it means for Greg Monroe‘s future, and so much more.
As usual, our mailbag was on hand to wrap things up too, with a whole host of questions on the outcome of this deal and what it means for the future shape of the Bucks’ cap and roster.
Joining me for this special emergency episode, as usual, was contributor and multi-instrumentalist Jordan Treske.
