Who's the best center in Charlotte Hornets history?
Over the past two seasons, Al Jefferson has been the focal point of everything the Charlotte Hornets do on offense. He's a monster with the ball, arguably the league's most effective post weapon.
But is Jefferson the best center in franchise history? It's a legitimate question that the staff over at SB Nation's At the Hive decided to debate:
Jefferson averaged 19.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game in two seasons with the Hornets. He also led them to the postseason in his first year with the team.
The other competitor for this title is Alonzo Mourning, who made two All-Star games in his three seasons with the Hornets. It's a tough call and there isn't a right or wrong answer, but if Jefferson leads Charlotte to the postseason this year he'll likely go down as the best big man in franchise history.

Al Jefferson, and he would probably be number one if he had been with the organization longer. He's been a blast to watch in his short time in Charlotte, and his first year with the team was the best of his career. He led the team back into the playoffs, and has made his mark on the franchise. The guy should be talked about in bars forever.
