Watch Barack Obama Take the Court for the Charlotte Hornets in NBA 2K17

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 10:58 p.m. ET

Even though the Charlotte Hornets usually miss on big name players, they were the lucky team to get Barack Obama in NBA 2K17.

In NykeFaller’s newest video, he made a MyCareer with Barack Obama. The nickname “Prez” in NBA 2K17 took on a whole new meaning when the 44th President of the United States decided to take his talents to the league with the Charlotte Hornets. Since retiring as POTUS, Obama needed a new profession and basketball was the logical choice.

We have all seen Barack’s game over the past eight years as he has displayed on multiple occasions that he has some skill on the court. NBA 2K17 and NykeFaller made all of our dreams a reality when bringing Obama to the league where he terrorizes other players. Who would’ve known that the former President is such a savage?

In the three-minute video, Obama can be seen posterizing and taunting opposing players. This video would be great by itself but having Barack in the purple and teal makes it that much more satisfying. Imagine a backcourt of Kemba Walker and Obama? Move over Splash Brothers.

Even at 55-year old, Barack’s still got something left in the tank and something to prove. NykeFaller even took us inside Air Force One with Obama. Don’t believe his skills would translate well to the NBA, just take a look at his highlight/mixtape*Disclaimer: This might be the greatest NBA 2K17 Video Ever*

    Here’s the video from NykeFaller:

Even though we might never ever get to enjoy Obama take the court in a Celebrity All-Star Game, we can all enjoy this and have a good laugh. That sweet lefty stroke would be too saucy for the league anyway. I mean even Stephen Curry took notes from Barack.

Thank you NykeFaller for making this. This is the type of player that the Charlotte Hornets need. Rich Cho, Michael Jordan, and the organization better be making some calls to the former President of the United States.
