Warriors vs. Nuggets: Preview
The Golden State Warriors are going to visit the Denver Nuggets for the fourth preseason game.
The Golden State Warriors are back in action tonight against the Denver Nuggets. They’ll be visiting the Mile High City with a 2-1 record thus far. It almost seems like it’d be beneficial if they lost this one for one really big reason.
The Dubs have had an up-and-down preseason thus far. They lost to the Toronto Raptors in Kevin Durant’s debut. They completely dismantled the super-team Los Angeles Clippers in Oracle Arena. Then they struggled to handle DeMarcus Cousins, but a late run lifted the Warriors over the Sacramento Kings.
So now they’re going to face off with one of the nine teams that defeated them in the regular season. The Nuggets are looking to make a move in the Western Conference this year. They have a solid combination of veterans and young, promising talent.
Denver is 2-2 in the preseason. The Warriors are going to have their hands full with Jusuf Nurkic, their 22 year old center. He’s seven feet tall and weighs around 280 lbs. Zaza Pachulia is going to be tested once again. Nurkic is averaging a team-high 18 points and 13.3 rebounds per game.
Steve Kerr said all of his stars will play tonight. Klay Thompson is going to look to continue his hot streak in the early going. Kevin Durant has been looking even better than expected. Draymond Green is going to play his game.

Stephen Curry is still getting into his rhythm, but that’s understandable. He looks to be trying to find ways to get involved first and looking for his shot second. He hasn’t been scoring the ball nearly as well as we’ve grown accustomed to, but don’t expect that to continue. He’ll get it going soon enough.
Patrick McCaw will be another player to keep an eye on. We could probably say that every game, though. He looks to be a complete steal in the Draft and he’ll build on what’s been a productive start to his young career.
Unfortunately, the game is not televised tonight. But you can follow along on the radio. In my professional opinion, the Warriors should throw tonight’s game. Just like how they threw the NBA Finals.
