Warriors' Bogut misses 6th straight game

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut is sitting out against Dwight Howard and the Houston Rockets because of an ailing left shoulder, the sixth straight game he has missed.

Warriors coach Mark Jackson says the injury is ''not major,'' and Bogut remains day to day. Jermaine O'Neal is expected to start in Bogut's place on Thursday night.

Jackson also says point guard Steve Blake, acquired in a trade with the Lakers on Wednesday, will play.

Bogut sustained a bone bruise after a win at Utah on Jan. 31. He played the following game against Charlotte but has sat out since after not missing a game this season because of injury.

Bogut also had a setback in his shoulder when he had a bad reaction to a cortisone shot last week.
