The Minnesota Timberwolves have waived forward Alando Tucker, a former first-round pick out of Wisconsin.

The Timberwolves acquired Tucker from Phoenix in December along with a conditional second-round draft pick and cash considerations for backup point guard Jason Hart.

The 6-foot-6 Tucker appeared in four games for Minnesota, averaging 2.0 points in 6.3 minutes per game. He was waived Monday

Phoenix drafted Tucker 29th overall in 2007. He averaged 4.1 points and 1.0 rebounds in 51 career appearances.
