Four Oklahoma City Thunder players are heading up an NBA contingent visiting South Africa this week as part of the league's annual Basketball Without Borders camp.
Serge Ibaka, Nick Collison, Thabo Sefolosha and Cole Aldrich from the Western Conference champions are joining Chicago's Luol Deng, Milwaukee's Luc Mbah a Moute and Brooklyn's C.J. Watson on the trip. It includes a basketball clinic for 60 African boys and girls, life skills seminars and education on HIV and AIDS.
This year marks the 10th Basketball Without Borders camp held by the NBA.
The players say it's not only a way to spread the game of basketball and impact the lives of African children but an eye-opening experience to the way of life on another continent.
