The Mavericks' 10 best plays from the 2014-15 season

The Dallas Mavericks started the 2014-15 regular season as a fireball, and ended it as a birthday cake candle. Expectations were lofty on opening night, then climbed even higher when Dallas traded for four-time All-Star point guard Rajon Rondo.
But that move turned out to be the beginning of the end, as the seven-seeded Mavericks were eliminated in the first-round of the playoffs by the Houston Rockets.
Still, there were happy times! Here's one of the team's 10 best highlights, according to Bleacher Report's Vytis Lasaitis: a gorgeous behind-the-head pass from Chandler Parsons to Brandan Wright:
Plays like this were the norm for the season's first couple months. Dallas had the number one offense in basketball and appeared to be unstoppable. But defense was a problem, and the Rondo trade had to be made. We'll always have these highlight, though.
