'The Dunk King' finals were on fire, literally...
That picture isn't photoshopped, it's a screenshot.
The finals of The Dunk King aired late Tuesday night following the Western Conference Finals game on TNT and a dunker by the name of Kenny Dobbs brought the proverbial heat to the extent that it became literal.
Yes, that is a human being dunking over another human being who was on fire. In an age of "what have you done for me lately?", originality, and creativity being the prominent factors in entertainment value -- this dunk by Dobbs, not only clearing the fire completely but finishing a pump-up alley-oop in stride, checked all the boxes.
You're probably asking: "How does one follow something like that up?" Well, how about him dunking completely blindfolded over three people.
The most shocking thing that happened during the contest finals? These dunks weren't good enough to win! The 'Dunk King' championship and $100,000 grand prize was awarded to 5'5" Porter Mayberry who therew down a mammoth jam over the colossal, 7'1" Shaquille O'Neal.
I think I speak for everyone when I say: get these guys on TV more!
