Steph Curry and the Warriors Completely Dominate the Charlotte Hornets, 126-111
The Charlotte Hornets dropped their sixth straight game as the Golden State Warriors put on a show at the visitor’s expense.

The Charlotte Hornets (23-27) were defeated by the Golden State Warriors (42-7) as they lost their sixth consecutive game. Charlotte never really had a firm grip on this one as they never once held the lead. It was a wire to wire victory for Stephen Curry and company as Kemba Walker and the rest of the Hornets struggled from the opening tip.
Cody Zeller was out once again as he missed his fifth straight outing with a quad contusion. They now have a 1-11 record without Cody this season. This was Jeremy Lamb‘s second game back and his first time returning to his regular role/minutes off the bench.
Turning Point
Tip-off? The Hornets never held the lead and the game was only tied once. Golden State pushed their lead to as much as 22 in the first quarter and led by 32 points during the third quarter. It was not pretty for Charlotte.

Who Stepped Up
Frank Kaminsky got plenty of minutes off the bench as he led the Hornets with a team-high 24 points. He also pulled down seven rebounds. Marco Belinelli also had a good game with the second unit as he finished the night with 16 points and seven assists. Marvin Williams added 15 points and five boards.
Nicolas Batum chipped in 13 points, seven assists, and five rebounds while Michael Kidd-Gilchrist almost had a double-double with eight points and nine boards. This was a very quiet game for Kemba Walker as he only scored seven points on 1-5 shooting.
The Warriors were led by Steph Curry who went off for 39 points, eight assists, and five rebounds on 11-15 shooting from three. Klay Thompson recorded 29 points, eight assists, and five boards. While Kevin Durant had a quiet 18 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists in this one.

Quick Stings
With the loss, the Hornets fall to 0-2 on the year against the Warriors. That is how their season series will end as this was their second and final meeting. They have now lost six straight to Golden State dating back to 2013.
In their next game, the Charlotte Hornets will travel to Salt Lake City to take on the Utah Jazz. It will be the third and final game of their current road trip out west. It will be the final meeting between the two sides. The Hornets will be hoping for a repeat of their last game against the Jazz as they came out on top 104-98 at home.
