Spurs 'concentrating on ourselves' as Warriors remain undefeated

The San Antonio Spurs have not played many tough teams this season. They're 9-2, with as long a win streak as anybody not named the Golden State Warriors, but 1-2 against teams that hold a winning record.

Is this cause for concern, especially as Golden State rolls through some of the best teams in basketball? Here's what Spurs guard Patty Mills told the San Antonio Express-News:

San Antonio has one of, if not the best defenses in the NBA right now. Their offense remains a work in progress, but this feels like a situation where doubt is unnecessary.

These are the Spurs, and they always figure everything out.

Only the Golden State Warriors currently have a longer winning streak than the Spurs. The defending NBA champions lead the Pacific Division with a 12-0 record. “Generally, you don’t take a lot of notice,” Mills said, “but obviously them being 12-0 that’s something that stands out a little more than other things. But it doesn’t affect us in any way. We are concentrating on ourselves and what we need to do to get better. That’s the main focus.”
