Should the Bucks avoid free agency?
The Milwaukee Bucks rebounded in a big way this season, going from 15-67 in 2013-14 to a playoff berth this year.
Keeping the positive momentum will require some careful tweaking, but the Bucks have assets to play with. Milwaukee will have the 17th pick in the draft and should have a decent amount of cap space to utilize, depending on what kind of deal restricted free agent Khris Middleton gets this offseason.
Aside from retaining Middleton, should the Bucks be hesitant about making a big free agent signing given all the young, cheap talent that needs playing time to develop?
Here's more from Vytis Lasaitis at Bleacher Report:
"The worst thing Milwaukee could do this summer would be to sign veterans to big deals. The season was a success, but the Bucks shouldn't take away any playing time from its youngsters. This is still a multiyear project, and getting trigger-happy isn't the way to go.
That doesn't mean the Bucks shouldn't look to make moves. Even with O.J. Mayo and Ilyasova on the books for next season, Milwaukee will have enough cap space to make a little splash.
