Shannon Sharpe proves LeBron is more clutch than MJ with this one stat
How LeBron James compares to the greatest of all-time, Michael Jordan, has been a rather popular topic of discussion lately, in part because Dwyane Wade told reporters this week that there's no way LeBron can ever surpass His Airness.
While that might be true, there's no denying that James does surpass Jordan in a few specific instances. And on Friday's "Undisputed," Shannon Sharpe needed just one stat to prove that LeBron was more clutch than MJ:
"In the final five seconds [in the playoffs], in regulation and overtime, LeBron James is 6-for-12 in game-winning attempts, while Michael Jordan is 5-for-11. ... Is 6-of-12 better than 5-of-11? Which is it, Skip?"
Of course, Skip only needed one word in response: "Barely."
Okay, Skip. That's obviously true, but what about if you could sum up your response to the idea that LeBron was more clutch than the most clutch ever in two words? "That's bogus."
Check out the video above for Bayless' full rebuttal, as he calls out LeBron for "being scared" to go to the free-throw line in the clutch when he knows the spotlight shines the harshest.
