Rondo set to play in Game 4

Rajon Rondo is set to play for the Boston Celtics in Game 4 against the Miami Heat two days after dislocating his left elbow.

Coach Doc Rivers said before the game that his point guard would play after looking OK in Monday morning's shootaround. The Heat lead the best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal series 2-1.

Rondo was hurt in the third quarter of Boston's 97-81 win Saturday night when he got tangled up with Miami guard Dwyane Wade and was thrown to the floor. An MRI and CAT scan on Sunday were negative, Celtics spokesman Jeff Twiss said.

Rivers said he wasn't concerned about the health of backup point guard Delonte West, who had a bruised left shoulder.

Earlier Monday, Rondo and teammate Kevin Garnett were selected to the NBA's All-Defensive first team.
