Published Jan. 6, 2015 7:59 a.m. ET

San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard is expected to return to action sometime in the next two weeks, Yahoo! Sports/FOX Sports 1 NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

Leonard has been out since tearing a ligament in his right hand in December, missing the team's past 10 games. San Antonio is 4-6 in that stretch.

In the 22 games he has played this season, Leonard has averaged 15.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game.

Leonard was named the NBA Finals MVP last season when the Spurs beat the Miami Heat in five games.
