Report: Pacers strike deal with newly acquired Rakeem Christmas

Well, that didn't take very long at all. On Thursday, the Indiana Pacers acquired big man Rakeem Christmas from the Cleveland Cavaliers for essentially nothing.
And before the ink was even dry on the fax of the official paperwork to the league office, the Pacers and Christmas had struck a deal on a four-year contract, Chris Haynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports:
Christmas was a four-year player at Syracuse, but he really made a name for himself in his senior season. He averaged 17.5 points and 9.1 rebounds per game in his final year of college while blocking more than two shots per game. He still has quite a bit to learn about NBA defense and the speed of the game in general, but he could prove to be a solid rotation big man off the bench for Indiana.
