Denver Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried has agreed to a five-year, $60 million contract extension with the team, Yahoo Sports/FOX Sports 1 Insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported Sunday night.

The final year of the deal includes a partial guarantee that assures Faried, a 2011 first-round draft pick out of mid-major Morehead State, will receive at least $52 million under this contract, the report notes.

The 24-year-old Faried averaged 13.7 points and 8.6 rebounds last season for the Nuggets and also played a big part in the United States' gold-medal run at the 2014 World Cup of Basketball in Spain.
