Report: Dwight Howard is unhappy in Houston

Published Dec. 15, 2015 7:07 p.m. ET

The 2015-16 season for the Houston Rockets hasn't started off as planned.

The Rockets looked to be a championship contender, but at the quarter pole, the Rockets are hovering around .500, have already fired Kevin McHale, and aren't getting the type of consistent performances from James Harden and Dwight Howard that are necessary.

ESPN.com Rockets beat writer Calvin Watkins had a quick report as well:

While there are a lot of moving parts, both reports seem to confirm, in one way or another, that Howard isn't currently happy with how things are playing out in Houston.
