Report: Chandler Parsons off crutches, on pace for season opener

Dallas Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons underwent surgery on his left knee this offseason, but details of the procedure were difficult to pin down.
The good news for the Mavericks is that according to team sources, Parsons isn't projected to miss any time for next season.
Here's Tim MacMahon at ESPN.com with more:
"Parsons, who underwent a complicated arthroscopic procedure to repair cartilage damage in his left knee on May 1, used crutches during a public appearance a couple of weeks ago. At the time, he declined to discuss specifics about his operation, mentioning that he didn’t think the Mavs wanted him to.
Parsons and the Mavs have also publicly avoided setting a firm timetable to his return to basketball activities. However, sources from the team and Parsons' camp have expressed strong confidence that his recovery will not cause the Mavs small forward to miss any time next season."
