Pippen becomes Bulls ambassador
Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen is back with the Chicago Bulls, this time as an ambassador.
A six-time champion with Michael Jordan in the 1990s, Pippen will participate in various team events and attend most home games, interacting with fans and sponsors. He will also write a monthly column and appear on BullsTV for the team's website.
Pippen says in a statement being back with the Bulls ''means a lot to me'' and that he's ''really looking forward to being more involved in the community and working with kids.''
Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf calls Pippen ''one of the greatest and most popular Bulls players of all time'' and adds the organization is ''so proud of his accomplishments.''
Pippen was a seven-time All-Star and two-time Olympic gold medalist.
