Pelicans' Tyreke Evans questionable for Game 2 vs. Warriors

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) New Orleans Pelicans point guard Tyreke Evans says an MRI on his left knee showed a deep bone bruise and he is questionable for Game 2 of their first-round playoff series against the Golden State Warriors.

Evans spoke before the Pelicans practiced at the University of San Francisco on Sunday. He left in the first half of New Orleans' 106-99 loss to Golden State on Saturday after a collision with Warriors forward Andre Iguodala.

Evans says he's feeling better, but there is still swelling in his knee and some pain, particularly when trying to push off. Initially, he said he heard something pop and felt a sharp pain in his knee.

Norris Cole and Jrue Holiday are expected to play more if Evans is out.
