Paul George debuts new Hyperdunk low sneaker at basketball academy
PG-13 is back, baby! And Indiana Pacers forward Paul George is bringing a sweet new pair of kicks with him.
George was on hand at the Nike Basketball Academy in Los Angeles over the weekend, where top high school and college athletes are able to play against each other to give the young guys a sense of what real competition is like at the next level. NBA players such as George and Kevin Durant were on the sidelines watching the festivities and getting up shots in between action.
And any time you get that many basketball players under one roof, the shoes are going to start drawing attention. On that front, George won the weekend, showing off a new pair of Nike Hyerdunk 2015 Low.
George, of course, played for former Army basketball player and coach Mike Krzyzewski on Team USA, and he was presented with honorary dog tags from the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Martin Dempsey, upon his return in April from the leg injury that sidelined him for most of 2014-15.
