Nets' Joe Johnson shows frustration, says team is being selfish

The Brooklyn Nets are off to a solid start but you couldn't tell by Joe Johnson's comments.

The veteran shooting guard, who complained about a lack of ball movement during the Nets' 104-96 win over the Orlando Magic on Sunday, took to Twitter to share his feelings, writing "I'm off this [expletive]!!"

Johnson went into further detail on Tuesday but declined to point the finger at any of his teammates.

"Just some frustration, obviously," Johnson said after practice. "Not hiding anything. We're 4-2 six games into the season. It's early. We haven't played anybody, and the Minnesota game (a 98-91 loss is) obviously a game we definitely should've won. I thought this last game that we played against Orlando was almost a carbon copy. Defensively, we help from time to time. Offensively, I just think guys kind of exhaust their options and then when there's nothing else for them, then they'll pass it when they have to. For the most part, we've been very selfish."

Johnson isn't wrong about the Nets' level of competition this season, having faced teams with a combined 13-30 record. Three of the Nets' next four opponents lead their respective divisions (Warriors, Blazers, Heat) and the Suns, whom Brooklyn plays Wednesday, is 4-3.
