NBA world takes to social media to mourn Nate Thurmond's passing
Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers legend Nate Thurmond passed away Saturday morning at age 74, and news of the Hall of Famer's death reverberated deeply across the NBA.
"A giant of his era and one of the greatest players in the history of our game," NBA commissioner Adam Silver mourned.
"Damn man!" LeBron James tweeted. "R.I.P Akron's own Nate Thurmond. Knowing u played in the same rec league as me growing up gave me hope of making it out!"
