Lionel Hollins helping spread hypertension awareness in Memphis

Published Jun. 4, 2015 12:44 p.m. ET

Lionel Hollins works a high-stress job in a high-stress city. No one would blame him if that had some sort of effect on his emotions or body.

Hollins has high blood pressure and has since his playing days with the Trail Blazers. Now, he's trying to spread hypertension awareness in Memphis, where he coached for years before coming to the Nets last summer. From Don Wade of the Memphis Daily News:

Hollins has a 252-245 career record and helped lead the Nets to the postseason this past year, though Brooklyn did win only 38 games.
