The New York Knicks’ 2014-15 season has been an absolute disaster. Many fans and analysts alike have joked that it would be in everyone’s best interest to just have a computer or video game console simulate their remaining games, and they’re probably right.

Wednesday night’s game against the Indiana Pacers featured yet another embarrassing moment for the team. Cole Aldrich attempted to haul in a defensive rebound in the first quarter of the game, but he ended up tipping the ball into the basket.

Someone needs to remind Aldrich that he was supposed to defend that basket, not score on it.

The (15-63) Knicks trailed by 28 points heading into the third quarterand ended up losing 102-86. But, most importantly, they’re still the worst team in the league record-wise. That puts them in a good position to land a top-tier frontcourt player to build around with the NBA draft on the horizon.
