Knicks add assistant coaches Todd, Walker
New York Knicks interim coach Mike Woodson completed his staff Saturday, adding Jim Todd and Darrell Walker as assistant coaches.
The Knicks made the moves before their game at Indiana.
Coach Mike D'Antoni resigned Wednesday and Woodson was promoted to the post. Also leaving were assistant coaches Dan D'Antoni, Mike's brother, and Phil Weber.
Todd, who also served as an assistant under Woodson in Atlanta, was an assistant coach with Sacramento this season after coaching in China and in 2010-11. Todd also finished the 1999-2000 season as the Los Angeles Clippers' interim head coach.
Walker, a former Knicks player who played 10 seasons in the NBA with New York, Denver, Washington, Detroit and Chicago, was most recently an assistant coach with Detroit. He was 41-90 in parts of two seasons as Toronto's head coach and served as Washington's interim coach in the 1999-2000 season.
