Heat's Bosh buys posh Miami pad
Five-time NBA All-Star Chris Bosh has bought a $12.5 million, seven-bedroom mansion on Miami Beach, the Miami Herald reported Friday.
The brand-new 12,000 square foot property also features eight bathrooms, 20-foot ceilings, a gourmet kitchen, gym, elevator and an infinity pool with views of Biscayne Bay.
The power forward joined fellow superstars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade on the Miami Heat in a sign-and-trade deal in July and will earn an estimated $14.5 million this season.
"When he saw the house, he was overwhelmed,'' said listing agent Lourdes Alatriste, of real estate firm Engel & Voelkers.
Bosh reportedly proposed to his fiancee Adrienne Williams at the home on Aug. 27..
A number of celebrities have lived in the neighborhood, including Jennifer Lopez and members of the Bee Gees, and Matt Damon only lives a few doors away from Bosh.
The house was originally listed for more than $16 million.
