Hawks coach: Atlanta not anticipating trades

The Atlanta Hawks might have the perfect NBA team this season. Sure, there are more talented rosters. But this Hawks squad has come to define the team concept in modern basketball, and it's been a beautiful thing to watch.

With that in mind, Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer doesn't think his team will be participating in the feeding frenzy that is Thursday's trade deadline.

“I think we feel great about our group,” the coach and acting general manager said. “We like a lot of things that have been improving and getting better. Like we’ve said a few times over the last few days, the organization has a mindset every day of trying to get better and improve. So you have to be open and listen, but I would not say we are anticipating anything.”
