Gasol enjoys 'playing against one of the best teams in the history of the game'
The San Antonio Spurs lost a close battle to the Chicago Bulls last night, but beforehand Chicago's starting center Pau Gasol didn't mince words when discussing his opponent's long-term success.
Here's what he had to say about them, per NBA.com:
Gasol finished with 18 points, 13 rebounds and four assists. Not a bad outing against one of the best teams ever, even if said team is currently trying to figure out exactly what they have with all their new parts.
"I do enjoy playing against one of the best teams, I think, in the history of the game," Bulls center Pau Gasol said Sunday. "They've been incredible for the last 15, 16, 17 years now since they won that first championship. So really impressive what they've done. I think everybody is trying to follow up on what they've accomplished. And building that culture, longevity. So yeah, I still do get very much motivated against a team that's always at the top of the league."
