Draymond Green reveals the key to the Cleveland Cavaliers' success
We're now just hours away from the NBA Finals, and one of the most intriguing subplots is the return of the Cavs, this time, with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. After Cleveland pushed the Warriors to six games without Love at all in the Finals last year, and with Kyrie going down in Game 1, the question has to be asked, what can they do with them?
Yet for all the talk about those two superstars, one Warriors star believes it's another player who's been the key difference for the Cavs revival in 2016. That Warriors is Draymond Green, and that key Cav is, you won't believe this... Channing Frye.
Yes, Draymond Green believes Channing freakin' Frye is the difference with the Cavs in 2016, and he explained why in an interview with "Warriors Plus Minus" on Wednesday (go to the 7:55 mark for the audio):
I've got to admit, that certainly wasn't the answer I was expecting, but I'll also add this: Give both Draymond, and the Warriors coaching staff credit. That answer isn't one any player would generally give, unless they've absolutely done your homework, and know their opponent inside out.
Clearly the Warriors are prepared, and ready for just about anything that the Cavs can throw at them Thursday night, and I'm guessing it's the same in Cleveland.
How soon until Game 1 again?
