Denver Nuggets vs. Los Angeles Clippers: Preview
The Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Clippers meet for the first time this year on Tuesday night. The game will be played at The Staples Center, as the Nuggets try to win their fourth straight.
The Nuggets are on a roll after their win against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night. They have won three straight games and hope to continue that trend.
Blake Griffin for the Clippers is out with a knee injury tonight. Griffin is leading the Clippers in scoring at 21.2 points per game. Chris Paul is not far behind him, though, at 17.6 points per game.
The Clippers have the fourth best record in the Western Conference, so the Nuggets have a tough game ahead of them.
The places where the Denver Nuggets excel, so do the Clippers. The Nuggets lead the league in rebounding, but the Clippers have one of the best rebounders in the NBA in Deandre Jordan. Denver averages 107.7 points per game and Los Angeles averages 109.6 points per game.
Also, the Nuggets have been passing the ball well lately. They were able to rack up 32 assists against the Dallas Mavericks. The Clippers can pass the ball too, though. They average 22.5 assists per game compared to Denver’s 22.2 assists per game.
Speaking of assists; Nikola Jokic was one assist away from recording his first career triple-double last game. Can the Joker get a repeat performance tonight against the pesky Clippers defense? We would love to see more passes like this tonight:

Tonight will be a real testament to how far along the Nuggets have come. If they can play a solid game like they have the past three games, we may be in for a real treat.
What do you think of the Nuggets resurgence? Is it the lineup, having Gary Harris back, or something else that brought our swagger back? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter!
