Dell Curry returns to the Hornets in an advisory role

Dell Curry, the Charlotte Hornets' all-time scoring leader and current TV analyst, has returned to the team in an advisory role. But what exactly will Curry's role be? As he tells the Charlotte Observer, even he's not putting himself in a box when it comes to his duties.

"'I’m pretty much at everyone’s disposal,' Curry described of his new job. 'Whether it’s working with Rich Cho or marketing or social media. This position doesn’t isolate me to any one department.'"

Curry's been associated with the franchise basically since its inception. It's always a good idea for a franchise to stay connected to its past, but this is an especially good idea for the Hornets as they continue their rebrand from the Bobcats back to their original name. Curry's association with the original Hornets will only bolster that connection.
