Check out the Lakers' new 'state-of-the-art' facility planned for next year
The Los Angeles Lakers are rebuilding on the court and now off it, too. The team announced plans Wednesday for a new "state-of-the-art" training center that is expected to open next year.
The complex, which will be named the UCLA Heath Training Center, will be located in El Segundo, Calif., and is expected to be a show-stopper.
"The new building is three times the size of the one we're in now," Lakers head coach Luke Walton said. "It's got state-of-the-art everything."
It sounds like Walton isn't exaggerating. The facility will include dual cryogenics chambers, indoor-outdoor lounge, a barber shop and two courts that have 750 capacity arena seating.
Check it out for yourself.

"The UCLA Health Training Center will be the greatest and most up-to-date training facility in the league, and will allow us the best opportunities to enhance our efforts in the areas of training, strength and conditioning, nutrition, and injury prevention and treatment," general manager Mitch Kupchak said.
The Lakers' young roster will probably welcome this new, tricked-out facility with open arms.
