Charles Barkley is back at it again
Charles Barkley is in midseason form with his Kevin Durant and Golden State hate.
It feels like we write one of these pieces every few months. I could copy and paste an article from 10 years ago and you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. That’s how redundant Charles Barkley is.
He’s back at it again, doing is normal song and dance. It’s the same thing Warriors fans heard during the We Believe year a decade ago. It’s the same thing that Warriors fans heard two years ago when they won a championship. It’s the same thing Warriors fans heard last year when they were four points away from another one.
Barkley was at a TNT lunch when he started to give some ideas about the upcoming season.
If that’s not peak Chuck, I don’t know what it is. It’s nothing new, it’s the same nonsense that he’s been spewing for years now. It’s actually pretty funny.
Barkley has been outspoken about Kevin Durant’s decision to join Golden State. He criticized the former MVP for joining a championship team that, according to him, wasn’t all that good. He said Durant is trying to “cheat [his] way to a championship.”
The Inside the NBA star is going to have a lot of opportunities to talk about this throughout the course of the season. After every Golden State win on TNT, he’ll find a way to bring the conversation back to their emphasis on shooting the basketball and lack of size. It’s what he does.
The Warriors can shut him up in June. But, until then, expect to hear this a lot more.
