Cavaliers waive G Coby Karl, son of Nuggets coach

The Cleveland Cavaliers have waived guard Coby Karl.

The team announced the move on Wednesday.

The son of Denver Nuggets coach George Karl appeared in three games with the Cavaliers, grabbing two rebounds in five minutes. He did not attempt a shot.

Karl was invited to training camp and made the team's roster on a non-guaranteed contract.
