Brewer enjoying how confident the Rockets are
Corey Brewer won a title with the Dallas Mavericks in 2011. He knows how it feels to be on a championship run, and thinks the Houston Rockets may be experiencing one right now.
Here's the Houston Chronicle's Jenny Dial Creech with more:
“When I was in Dallas, everyone got more confident with each round so I feel like we are getting our confidence now. We played bad the whole Clippers series and we have to play good sometime. We have to take it up another level. We have to play better. We still aren’t playing our best basketball yet.”
Brewer was acquired by the Rockets in a three-team trade back on December 19, and, for Houston, the move to grab him was a blessing. He's averaging 12.4 points per game in the postseason, making over 35 percent of his threes and providing a maniacal, necessary spark off the bench.
Houston's season would be over if he weren't around.
