Brandon Jennings wants to return on December 29 against Knicks
It's been a pretty wild week for Detroit Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings.
Even though he's still recovering from a torn Achilles suffered last season and has yet to make his debut back from the injury, Jennings was recently being mentioned in trade rumors as a possible target for the New York Knicks, even though head coach Stan Van Gundy had denied that any conversations about Jennings being dealt had happened.
Now, it's being announced that Jennings wants to return later this month against -- guess who? -- the New York Knicks, at Madison Square Garden.
One of the most memorable moments of Jennings' career came at MSG when he originally skipped out on attending the draft but eventually "crashed" the event and walked up on stage to get pictures taken with then commissioner David Stern.
He'll be looking to have another milestone moment against the Knicks, if his rehab goes as planned.
