Biggest loser of the trade deadline? Miley Cyrus

In the span of about an hour Thursday, the NBA world went insane. As the trade deadline loomed, team after team began moving big-name players so quickly it was nearly impossible to keep up.

One minute, all was quiet. The next minute ...

Kevin Garnett was back in Minnesota.

The Miami Heat finally had a point guard.

The Suns were blowing up their team ... despite holding the No. 8 playoff spot in the West.

One guy who didn't get traded was Minnesota's Kevin Martin, who has two seasons left on his four-year, $28 million contract and was rumored to be on the block. So when he stayed put, he spoke out on the Internet rumors and gave us the quote of the trade deadline.

"Thanks to Miley Cyrus, I guess ignorant things still go viral," he said.

BOOM! Like a wrecking ball.

Safe to say Miley won't be partying with Martin in the USA this summer.
