Baynes talks past season and future with San Antonio

Aron Baynes is a decent rebounder, smart defender and can finish around the basket. He's also one of the many San Antonio Spurs likely headed for free agency this summer.
Speaking to Fairfax Media, Baynes reflected on several things, including his future with the only NBA team he's ever played for:
"I’m not going to speculate on what might happen. I’m going to take some time off then play for the Australian national team...That’s why I have an agent. I’ll let him handle that.”
With starting center Tiago Splitter nursing several injuries, Baynes was pressed into a larger role than he could handle against the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round. In 10 minutes per game, he shot just 30 percent from the floor.
Even though he has the size and hands coveted by most NBA teams, anything more than a veteran's minimum contract is unexpected if the Spurs choose not to tender Baynes' qualifying offer this summer.
